Vibrant nightlife in Granada's copas bars: music, dancing and partying until dawn.
"Bars de copas" are a distinctly Spanish category, halfway between a bar and a nightclub. The term "copa" (glass) refers to alcoholic drinks served late in the evening, usually after 11pm or midnight. These venues are characterised by loud music (pop, reggaeton, dance), a festive and lively atmosphere, and late hours (until 3am–6am depending on the day). Unlike clubs, entry is generally free and there is no dedicated dance floor, though guests often dance near the bar. Prices range from €6 to €12 per cocktail or combinado (spirit + mixer). This category is developing — in the meantime, explore our LGBT bars which offer a similar vibe, or consult our guide to Granada at night to find the party areas.
